Inspirational Ideas for Christian Units

• Prayer BDA - Unit prays before, during and after activities and meetings. Scout led.

• God and Country program - See link at God and Country Program.

• Devotionals - Scouts give devotionals on trips based on a Bible story. Include a personal story that supports the main point. Ask questions at the end to involve everyone.

• Scout Minute - Scouts talk about one of the Scout Law points at a troop meeting. Share a related Bible verse or story. Share a related personal experience.

• Scoutmaster Minute - Scoutmaster shares a brief message from the Bible or about a hero of the faith.

• Testimonies - Scouts share their testimony at a meeting or event

• Adult Prayer - Adults gather for prayer during the troop meeting. Great example to the Scouts.

• Service Projects - Help the community through Scouting for Food or other projects

• Relationships - Handle issues following Matthew 18:15-16. Involve older Scouts in the issue resolution.

• Hymns and Praise Songs - Sing at a meeting or on a trip
