Our Mission

The mission of Christian Scouting is to promote Christian Scouting America troops. Our goals are to encourage the formation of new Christian troops and share ideas among established troops, offering ideas to established Christian troops. Also, we offer mentors and resources for Christian troops.

Creating a troop in Scouting America gives access to assets such as scout camps, which are a great opportunity for youth. God and Country Awards are a great discipleship programs for youth as well.

With the foundation of Scouting America, Christian troops members are incentivized by the nationally recognized Eagle Scout Award.

Common Objections and Misconceptions of Scouting America

Some believe that Scouting America is no longer a place for Christians. Our experience has been that you can still have a great Christian Boy Scout troop. If you are sponsored by a church, you can pick your adult leaders and decide on your program to develop servant leaders following Christ.
